Program allowing no cost meals for all students not available for 2022-23
For the past two years, the United States Department of Agriculture has offered waivers to school districts allowing them to offer students breakfast and lunch at no charge. Those waivers are now expired. This means that starting in August of 2022-2023, we will return to normal pre-pandemic operations.

Summer Feeding Program Information
BCSD child nutrition workers will be serving meals Monday through Thursday, June 6 through July 28 at the schools listed. Meals will be hot, and children will need to eat at the site.

We provided a variety of ELA activities for our families to complete at home and plenty of island vibes at our year-ending Aloha Summer Luau. This was our third (and final) drive-thru event of the school year.

Parker's Kitchen donates $18k to BCSD
On April 19, 2022, representatives from Parker's Kitchen presented Berkeley County School District with an $18,000 donation. The check presentation was made at Boulder Bluff Elementary.

More than an application
Meals are provided at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year, but we still need families to complete free/reduced meal applications. This graphic explains why.
