Congratulations to our FFA Tractor Safety and Operations CDE team, they placed in the top 5 at the recent regional event on Wednesday! Let's start this year off right! The MUSC C.A.R.E.S. Clinic is hosting a back to school resource fair at St. Stephen Middle (225 Carolina Dr., St. Stephen) on Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to noon. This resource fair will include free school supplies, healthcare career pathways (MUSC PRIME team), health screenings, gun safety education, Lowcountry Food Bank and cooking demonstrations with recipes. The vaccine clinic has been rescheduled to the resource fair on September 6, which is still before student vaccine records are due.

MUSC will be at St. Stephen Middle on July 26th, offering any school immunization needed for school aged students! There will also be free school supplies available. Don't miss this event at SSM on July 26th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm!

Our JROTC Cadets are participating in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) this week at Fort Jackson. Students worked at various STEM stations such as robotics, 3-D printing, coding, and drones. Special thanks to School Board members, Yvonne Bradley and Angelina Davenport for attending Educators Day at JCLC. Fantastic job Major Abram, Sergeant Hodges, and students!

The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey. Track tryouts start next week

Due to concerns about icy conditions and the ongoing impact of inclement weather, Berkeley County School District students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, January 24.
