Now introducing Philip Simmons Elementary School’s REN Squad! After reviewing over 150 applications, these 3rd and 4th grade students were selected to be members of our first ever Renaissance student team. We are so excited to have this team join together to help us spread positivity and build community throughout our school. We would like to thank all our applicants!! It was extremely difficult to select only 16 students. We appreciate all the thoughtful responses provided. Be on the look out next school year for future opportunities for 3rd and 4th graders to join the REN Squad.

🇺🇸Honoring Our Heroes at PSE’s Veterans Day Breakfast🇺🇸 Today, we had the privilege of hosting our Veterans Day Breakfast to honor the incredible veterans in our community. Thank you to all the veterans and guests who joined us this morning—we are deeply grateful for your service and sacrifice. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Mr. David Frazier, our dedicated PSE music teacher, for preparing our choir students for this special day, even though he couldn’t be with us in person. And a huge thank you to Ms. Abby Jones, PSM Band Director, for her beautiful direction of the band during today’s performance. Both performances truly added to the heart of our celebration. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to our veterans—your courage and commitment will always inspire us. #PSEVeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #HonoringOurHeroes
