February is National Children's Dental Health Month, so Dr. Jessie Robinson from Robinson Family Dentistry came a visit with our kindergarten and first graders on Friday. Dr. Robinson taught students about good dental health habits. All our students brought home a bag full of tools to help them put what they learned into practice. Thank you Dr. Robinson!

Congratulations to our 5th graders, fine arts team and 5th grade teachers on their incredible show this evening, Disney's Nemo Jr.! Our team worked tirelessly over the last few months to create an amazing show. We are so proud of all our students and very thankful to have such excellent teachers at HHA!
We had another great duty free lunch today. PTA also provided a DELICIOUS lunch for our faculty and staff. We are so thankful to have such a supportive PTA at HHA!
Today we went on a school wide field trip to see our Fifth Grade show, Disney's Nemo Jr. It was a fantastic experience for everyone, the performance showcased vibrant characters and memorable songs, captivating both students and staff. A heartfelt thank you to the PTA for providing treats for our 5th graders, who were celebrated with a traditional HHA clap out after the show. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school!

Our 5th graders had an incredible virtual workshop with Broadway stars Jared Bradshaw and Lindsay Northern! With over a decade on Broadway and now performing in Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond!, they shared their expertise and coached our young performers as they prepare for their upcoming show, Finding Nemo JR
It was an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, tips, and a whole lot of fun! A huge thank you to Jared and Lindsay for bringing a bit of Broadway to our students! 🌟

HHA Class Picture Day will be Friday January 31st!
In response to ongoing forecasts for wintry weather, to include the potential for snow, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced that schools will follow the half-day dismissal bell schedule on Tuesday, January 21. Students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Wednesday, January 22. All schools and offices will be closed Wednesday.
