Today our K-2 chameleons had a fantastic visit from the Goose Creek Fire Department!
The firefighters taught our students all about the importance of fire safety and shared information about careers in public safety. Students got to tour the firetruck, check out the rescue truck and Engine 1, and watch demonstrations of the equipment and protective gear used on emergency calls.
Our chameleons loved meeting these community helpers and learning about the important work they do every day!

This Elevating the Arts grant will fund multiple Artists in Residence for our students and professional development for our educators as we continue to become “One in a Chameleon”! This grant will support and focus on all arts areas: Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre.

🌈🦎 Kindergarten Crazy Color Creatures Celebration! 🦎🌈
Our Kindergarten Chameleons wrapped up their color unit with a day full of color, creativity, and fun! 🎨✨
Students rotated through six activities, including painting colorful chameleon t-shirts, sorting and counting Skittles, making a Murple Purple Slurple, and more! 💜🌈 They even ended the day with a performance of the Crazy Color Creature song that they have been learning throughout the unit! 🎶
