Christin Rogers was born and raised in Summerville, SC.  She currently resides in Berkeley County with her husband and two daughters.  She attended Charleston Southern University where she majored in Early Childhood Education.

After graduation, Mrs. Rogers worked in 4K for one year at Sangaree Elementary School.  She then taught Kindergarten for 7 years at both College Park Elementary and Sterling School in Greenville, SC. She received her Master’s Degree in School Administration from Southern Wesleyan University in 2015.

Mrs. Rogers spent the last 3 years as Assistant Principal of College Park Elementary and was then at Bowen's Corner Elementary as an Assistant Principal. She is very excited to join the Hanahan Elementary family!

Mrs. Nixon is excited to join Berkeley County as a new member of the HES administrative team this year. With 9 years of experience in Dorchester District Two, she has held roles as an Assistant Principal, Instructional Technology Coach, and Teacher. Mrs. Nixon possesses a strong background in both technology and mathematics, which she is eager to leverage to enhance student learning and support educators. She is dedicated to creating a positive and innovative school environment that fosters collaboration and growth for all students and staff.
