Hello! My name is Jasmine Scott, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Lower Level School Counselor!

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and my master’s degree in School Counseling from South Carolina State University. I spent six years as a classroom teacher and have proudly served as a school counselor for the past eight years at College Park Elementary.

Outside of school, I am the proud mom of two amazing sons who keep me busy! You can usually find me cheering on the sidelines of a basketball court or football field. I am also an active member of my church, where I serve as a youth leader and event coordinator. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, watching sports, traveling, and taking moments to relax and recharge.

I am honored to be a part of the CLS family and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our incredible students, families and staff. I believe every child has unique strengths and gifts; and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop positive relationships, overcome challenges, and achieve their personal and academic goals.

I am Shaquanda Kinloch, a dedicated educator and counselor from Ridgeland, South Carolina. I am a wife and mother of three boys. With over 10 years of experience as a Professional School Counselor and six years as an elementary school teacher, I am committed to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Columbia College and a master's degree in counseling education from South Carolina State University. My professional focus includes promoting mental health awareness and fostering positive development in children.

I currently serve as the Middle School Counselor and Director at Carolyn Lewis School, where I strive to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of students.
