In honor of Black History Month, Superintendent Dixon paid Westview Primary a visit to read a biographical children’s book about Harriet Tubman, an American hero who escaped slavery and helped save other enslaved people via the Underground Railroad.

Last night's Trunk or Treat was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out!
Our Pelicans have been busy this week! Mrs. Farley's class did pumpkin dissection, Mrs. Jolley's class has now mastered subtraction using place value models, Mrs. Frierson's class created a bat museum (check out this video https://youtu.be/s0-vRqtBFoo), and all of our 4k-2nd grade students saw the Litter Trashes Everyone play! It was a fun week at Westview Primary!
