Competing in a field of 24 elite teams, Timberland High's JROTC Drone Team won multiple awards in the U.S. Army 4th Brigade Aerial Drone Best of the Best Competition.
Timberland High earned the following awards:
All-Around Champions: Hunter Smith, Addison Smith, Braydon John, and Tyler Pipkin
Communications Champions: Jayen Wilson, Jade Llarenas, Joshua Lara-Hernandez, Dameon Valmus, and Sebastian Gusi
Skills Champions: Hunter Smith, Tyler Pipkin, and Braydon John
Alliance Champions: Hunter Smith, Tyler Pipkin, Dameon Valmus, and Joshua Lara-Hernandez
In addition to being named the Skills champions, the team also placed 3rd and 6th overall in the Skills rankings and currently ranked 5th out of more than 950 teams worldwide! We are incredibly proud of these young leaders and the standard of excellence they continue to set.
