This Friday, April 12, in honor of World Autism Awareness Day (which was April 2nd!), SSE faculty and staff will be wearing their SSE Autism Awareness shirts, or a red, gold, or rainbow colored shirt. If any students would also like to honor World Autism Awareness they are invited to wear a red, gold or rainbow colored shirt as well. This is NOT mandatory. World Autism Day raises awareness and promotes acceptance and support for individuals with autism world-wide.
Spring has sprung! BCSD Spring Break runs April 1-5. All students return to school on April 8.
Several weeks ago was National School Breakfast Week! We had many students win prizes every day just for eating breakfast! Today we had an SSE student win a brand new iPad from the National School Breakfast Week!! They say...breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Thank you to our amazing cafeteria staff Ms. Claudia and Ms. Netta! Also Ms. Jean our guest manager.
