October is National Bullying Prevention Month. “Bullying is defined as a deliberate, repeated act with intention to hurt, insult or threaten another person in school, on school grounds, in school vehicles, or at school events. Bullying consists of an imbalance of power.” Marrington Elementary will be celebrating UNITY Day on October 16th by wearing ORANGE. In Guidance, students have been talking about what to do if they or another person is experiencing bullying behavior. Thank you for supporting this cause and please be sure to reinforce positive behaviors at home. We want to UNITE together for kindness, acceptance and inclusion!
