Parents: The annual school climate parent
survey is now available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal website under Forms. This survey
serves multiple purposes. The results of the parent survey will be reported on the 2026 school
report card as required by state law. Measuring parents’ perception of and involvement in
schools provides valuable information to principals and their faculty. The goal is to identify
strengths and weaknesses and define opportunities to improve parental involvement at our
school and in the state. Additionally, the parent survey provides information to improve school
and district performance. The Parent School Climate Survey is available in the PowerSchool
Parent Portal website under Forms . The survey will close on March 27th. Your time and effort in completing this survey is
greatly appreciated.

🎉BIG NEWS! 🎉 Marrington Pathfinder Fun Run kicks off soon! We’re attempting to raise $20,000 for supporting our 26-27 Artist in Residency and we need your help. Save the date and stay tuned for more details on how you can support our cause.

Our CERDEP Pathfinders are learning through the arts with Ms. Simone thanks to Spoleto Festival! Using a Wolf Trap for Early Learning approach, teachers are partnered with a trained artist to create an active, sensory-based, and developmentally appropriate learning experience in our preschool classrooms. ❤️🤍💙

Beep-boop! 🤖This week was all about first steps—for both our Pathfinders and our robots! From Bee-Bots to big ideas, we’re coding our way through the week. ❤️🤍💙

Our preschool Pathfinders are learning through the arts with Ms. Simone thanks to Spoleto Festival! Using a Wolf Trap for Early Learning approach, teachers are partnered with a trained artist to create an active, sensory-based, and developmentally appropriate learning experience in our preschool classrooms. ❤️🤍💙

1st grade Pathfinders are learning through the arts this week with visual artist, Cat Brantley. Today they are tracing their moon phase banner design onto the fabric and beginning to paint wax. The students are using brushes and a traditional Indonesian tjanting tool to apply soy wax to the fabric. Tomorrow they will begin using dye! This residency is made possible through a SC Arts Commission grant.

Pathfinders, we did it! We showed the most growth in our i-Ready ELA scores over the first semester and have been named an i-Ready Super School!
