Following the retirement of former principal Aidra Shaw, Lindsey Brooke Melcher has been named the new principal of Westview Primary!
Most recently, Melcher has served as the principal of Hanahan Elementary for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the assistant principal of Marrington Elementary for four years. Before becoming a school administrator, she taught third and fourth grade students at Sangaree Intermediate and Hanahan Elementary.
Melcher received her M. Ed. in Elementary School Administration from The Citadel and her B.S. in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston.
