WVE Girls on the Run had their 5K this weekend. Way to go girls! We are so proud of you!!
As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.
This is a FREE Camp for our students. No sign up is required! WVE's day is May 9th. We hope to see you there!

Charleston Southern University football players brightened our day by visiting our school to read with our students. Special thanks to Mr. Caleb for sharing the joy of reading with Mrs. Reeves' class!
To commemorate the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, library classes learned about the doomed voyage. Then students worked in groups to complete a digital breakout. Multiple groups broke out!
