As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.
The rain did not stop our ABC countdown! O was for outdoor lessons. Ms. Banks and Ms. Jones and 4th grade beat the rain! We had several other classes who got creative as well!
Please be advised that registration for returning and new students for the academic year 2024-2025 is now open.
This incudes registration for K4 and K5. In order to register for K4 a student must turn 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024. For K5 a child must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2024.
Completing returning student registration is extremely important in order to update phone numbers, addresses and emergency contacts! If you do not receive automated phone calls from SSE about student attendance or weekly updates then it's time to update your phone number.

Better late than never....May 3 was our final Math Wiz for the year! We have some super math students that need an extra shout out....Zipporah was the one and only Math Wiz for her class for the entire year.....30 weeks! The kids say she's just too fast! She answers 60 questions in less than 60 seconds - that's crazy!!
Cayden in Ms. Baglivo's kindergarten class has been on the board for 15 weeks straight. He's a huge kindergarten math leader!
Kaylea in Ms. Sinclair's class and Kingston in Ms. Spann's class have been on the board for 11 weeks. The last half of the year they emerged as leaders in their classes as well!
Also a shout out to Khaza in Ms Cooper's class. He currently has a 7 week streak, but he has been on the board multiple times and has had multiple winning streaks that have lasted longer than 7 weeks. He is a Math Wiz for sure!
