Congratulations to our Custodian of the Quarter Mr. Mobley! Custodians receive feedback from staff members at the school and that is how they receive this quarterly award. Mr. Mobley comes to school everyday with a smile on his face and is always in a cheerful mood! The kids love him and so do we!

EVERY student DESERVES a school counselor. Feb. 3-7 is National School Counseling Week, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our school counselors for the role they play in student achievement and success.

Friday, February 7 is an Early Dismissal day for Students! We will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. There is no school for students February 14 and February 17!

We are celebrating National School Counselor Week at SSE February 3-7! We love our counselors Ms. Morrissey and Ms. Watson! We will have School Counselor Spirit Week next week for anyone who would like to participate!

Thank you to Delta Dental and The Land of Smiles for the fun and informative show about dental health! Our K4-2nd grade students had fun and got some new dental gear!

BCSD schools and offices will re-open and resume normal operations tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 27.

Due to concerns about icy conditions and the ongoing impact of inclement weather, Berkeley County School District students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday, January 24. In response to ongoing forecasts for wintry weather, to include the potential for snow, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced that schools will follow the half-day dismissal bell schedule on Tuesday, January 21. Math Wiz from Friday, January 10! We do this every Friday to help students with their math fact fluency...but also to motivate them to learn those facts and have a little fun and recognition at the same time. This past Friday we had students in Ms. Spann's 3rd grade cheering for each other, and genuinely excited for the girls who won. We love that! Each Tuesday, the young men in the Gentlemen’s Club are tasked to dress up in shirt and tie. As a result, they will receive a special prize from Mr. T. Some asked to add their own flavor and Mr. T. would like to honor their efforts to express their individuality. This Tuesday, Mr. T. wanted to recognize the 3rd Grade gentlemen for having the most DRIP . This group of young men have been the most consistent of all grade levels in the Gentlemen's Club. This group will receive a great incentive at our next Gentlemen's Club meeting on this coming Friday!
