Back to School Reminders:
-Hats and Hoods are not to be worn in the building by students
-Cell phones, watches, and any other device that can be used for communication must be turned off and in the student's bookbag during the school day.
-Toys from home should remain at home (including basketballs, footballs, trading cards, etc.)
-We know that traffic has been hard in the mornings, so we haven't been doing tardies. Once the traffic smooths out, students arriving after 7:20 must be signed in.
-Transportation changes need to be made by a handwritten note or a phone call to the school. Please do not send them via email or Rooms, as teachers might not have a chance to check them before the end of the day.
-If you are late picking up, there will be a late fee charged after the first time.
-You may bring in birthday treats. We ask that they be store-bought with the ingredient labels. No balloons or flowers please :)
-Please do not drop students off in the mornings before 6:50. There is no adult supervision until 6:50 and we want all of our students to be safe.
Thank you for helping us to have a great start to the school year! Your students are AMAZING, and we are so excited to have them!!

Parents and Guardians:
All public school students, grades three through eight, are required to participate in the SC READY Assessments or SC Alternative Assessments for students with significant cognitive disabilities.
No preparation on your part is required for this, except to encourage your child to have a great night of sleep, to do their best on the test, and to be at school on time for all testing days. We will make every effort to make sure they have a good breakfast at school.
During testing, students will not be allowed to wear smartwatches or to have any cellular devices. Students are encouraged to dress for success.
Please look at the flyer for testing dates!
Your child needs to be present and on time each testing day. Testing will take place during the regular school day and will begin after student arrival each morning. Students can not be signed out during the testing period.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher or Mrs. Bauer if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Amanda Bauer Cindy Bise
Assistant Principal Interim Pincipal
