Berkeley County School District would like to recognize the 22 students who received a Gold Key Award, Silver Key Award or Honorable Mention in the South Carolina Lowcountry Art Region of this year's Scholastic Art Awards. A special congratulations to Mary Pinkston at Philip Simmons High on her work, "The Last French Fry," being selected as a American Visions Nominee.
Additionally, all Gold Key entries will be considered for Scholastic's national awards - including Gold Medal, Silver Medal and scholarships. Winners on the national-level will be announced at a later date.
