Sedgefield Middle had a great turnout Aug. 10 for Meet the Teacher and Meet the Principal!
Last year, Sedgefield Middle welcomed Dr. Ezra Cowan as the school’s new interim principal. With the start of the 2026-2027 school year just a couple of weeks away, the school would like to extend another warm welcome to Dr. Cowan – this time, as the school’s new official principal.
To kick off the new year, Dr. Cowan hosted a Meet and Greet that coincided with the school's Meet the Teacher event. As families showed up to the school to pick up schedules and tour the building, they also swung by the gym lobby to chat with Dr. Cowan. VIEW PHOTOS.
Families also got to grab some sweet treats from the Kona Ice truck and ServiceMaster of Charleston's Ice Cream Machine. Lowcountry Food Bank hosted a Fresh for All food distribution on campus as well. Thank you to all of these outside groups for coming out to support Sedgefield Middle!
