Philip Simmons High's girls volleyball team made school history this weekend when the group clinched the school's first-ever state title in volleyball.
In recognition of the big win, students and staff assembled the hallways on Monday to cheer on the girls volleyball team as they took a celebratory stroll with the school, wielding their new 2A State Championship trophy.
The girls were joined by the Iron Horse drumline in doing their celebratory lap through the school, as well as their coaches, Jay Watterworth and Kate Sablotsky.
Congratulations, Iron Horses!
