Philip Simmons Elementary is "on a roll" with its test scores!
On Nov. 18, Philip Simmons Elementary staff celebrated the school's 8.2 percent growth in SC Ready English/language arts scores from last year. The school had 80.1 percent of its students score Meets/Exceeds in spring of 2025.
To thank the staff for their hard work in making it possible, Principal Mike Huff spent the morning serving fresh cinnamon roles in the break room.
