Program allowing no cost meals for all students not available for 2022-23
For the past two years, the United States Department of Agriculture has offered waivers to school districts allowing them to offer students breakfast and lunch at no charge. Those waivers are now expired. This means that starting in August of 2022-2023, we will return to normal pre-pandemic operations.

Summer Feeding Program Information
BCSD child nutrition workers will be serving meals Monday through Thursday, June 6 through July 28 at the schools listed. Meals will be hot, and children will need to eat at the site.

Board receives update on new state funding metric, considerations impacting FY 2022-2023
The new funding formula, outlined in the Ways and Means FY 2023 annual appropriations budget, takes all new funds for education and applies them to a new formula that creates a metric called the State Aid to Classrooms Program Allocation.

Head Start now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year
APPLICATIONS ARE TAKEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Children must be 3 or 4 years of age before September 1st.

2022-2023 pre-k, kindergarten and new student registration opens April 4
In an effort to streamline the efficiency of enrolling students and to simplify the registration of your child, we have implemented a web-based registration process in which all aspects of student registration, including document submission, can be completed online.
