Deanne Martin

Mrs. Deanne Martin, Assistant Principal

I’ve been an educator in Berkeley County for the past 17 years.  I’ve taught third through fifth grade, served as an interventionist, an instructional coach, a Title I Facilitator, and now I'm very excited to serve our students and families as Assistant Principal.  I graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  A few years later, I graduated from the Citadel with a master's degree in Educational Leadership.  I have two elementary age children of my own who keep me busy but make me so happy every day!

I love coming to work each day to assist teachers and staff in providing the best education possible for our students so they can grow up to become successful members of our community.  I believe in educating the whole child.  We must provide support for students’ social-emotional well-being, as well as their academics, to truly empower successful learners.
