Mrs. Brooke Melcher has been in education for 16 years with teaching experience in both 3rd and 4th grade. She also served as an instructional coach prior to being the assistant principal at Marrington Elementary. She served as the assistant principal at MNE for four years. Mrs. Melcher is looking forward to the adventures that await her as the principal of Hanahan Elementary.

Mrs. Martin is a proud graduate of Clemson University and The Citadel, with over 21 years of dedicated service in education—all within Berkeley County. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles including elementary school teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, Title I Facilitator, and assistant principal. Her extensive experience reflects a deep commitment to student growth and academic success. Mrs. Martin is passionate about fostering a love of learning in every child and is excited to support the students, families, and staff of Westview Primary School.
