Welcome to Westview Primary!

As Principal of Westview Primary, I am honored to lead our school community and support the growth and development of our youngest learners.

I am a Berkeley County native and a proud graduate of the College of Charleston. I earned my master's degree in Elementary Administration from The Citadel, which deepened my understanding of educational leadership and school management. My passion for education began in 2008 when I started my teaching career in Berkeley County schools. Over the next decade, I had the privilege of working directly with students in the classroom, where I developed a deep commitment to fostering engaging, supportive learning environments.

In 2018, I transitioned into the role of Instructional Coach at Marrington Elementary School, where I collaborated with teachers to strengthen instructional practices and support student achievement. This experience equipped me with valuable insights into what it takes to build strong, cohesive school cultures. While at MNE, I also served as an assistant principal, where I expanded my leadership experience and worked to ensure that every student had access to excellent teaching and learning opportunities.

In 2023, I was hired as principal of Hanahan Elementary School, and now I am thrilled to join the Westview Primary family. I am excited about the opportunity to work with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and bright young students. Together, we will continue to create a nurturing environment where our littlest learners can grow.

Outside of school, I am a devoted wife and proud mom of two amazing children who both attend Berkeley County schools. I understand firsthand the importance of quality education and supportive school communities, and I'm committed to making Westview Primary a place where every child thrives.
