In 2017, he was selected at the BCSD District Teacher of the Year, and in 2018, he became a Top 5 Finalist for the SC Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Snyder then made the jump to school administration and was an assistant principal for six years, five spent at Cane Bay High and one at Stratford High.
Mr. Snyder received his undergraduate degree from Concord University, and he received his graduate degree in Secondary Educational Leadership from the Citadel.
He believes that quality teachers and relationships are the cornerstones for success when it comes to education. He is committed to a service leadership mentality and wants to see every student graduate with the opportunity for success in life. He loves camping and hiking with his wife and three children.
