Congratulations to our Iron horse marching band. They had an amazing weekend winning:

1st Best in class 2A BAND

2nd Best 2A division Drum Major
2nd Best 2A division Percussion
1st place overall in 2A competition.
2nd place in the silver division which includes all of 1-3A

This is the first time our school has had a majorette and therefore the first time that she has placed 1st in competition!
It is the first time the band has placed first in their class at every competition they have gone to in a season.

The Visual Arts Department is excited to announce this weekend’s winners of the Coastal Carolina Art Competition.
Third place went to Piper Ellenberg-Stanton. Second place to Isabelle Rizzetto. And taking first place are Ryan Weaver and Sophia Ligon! Judges' awards were earned by Johannah Carlos, Erin Hurley, Eden Tumey, and Hope McLure. Best in Show was won by Avery Maysey! Congratulations to all of these talented artists on their outstanding achievements!
Attention HOSA Members: All fundraiser forms and money are due by 4th block today, November 3rd. If your materials are not turned in on time, you may not receive what you need to fulfill your orders. Please make sure everything is submitted before the deadline—let’s finish strong and keep our fundraiser running smoothly!
The Gameday Club is partnering with InMotion Wellness Studio on Daniel Island to give away $100 gift cards to 3 lucky winners of our Gallop to Playoffs raffle. Each gift card is equivalent to 2 sessions with InMotion Wellness Studio. Each raffle ticket is just $5 or 5 raffle tickets for $20. Tickets can be purchased on the Iron Horse Gameday Club website or you can stop by Mrs. Walker’s office in School Counseling. The winners will be drawn on Friday, November 7.
Tryouts for the girls basketball team are today and tomorrow, Nov 3 & 4. Please make sure you have a physical uploaded in Big Teams.
Boys JV basketball tryouts will now be held Wednesday, Nov 5th and Friday Nov 7th! All players must be green on Big Teams. Please stop by Coach Campbell's class at room 230 for a tryout checklist!
Attention Juniors and Seniors: We will be attending Panther Preview Day at Claflin University! If you are interested in touring the campus and learning about their programs, please pick up a permission slip from School Counseling. Slots are limited! All permission slips are due by Thursday, November 7.
Boeing’s 2026 Manufacturing Student Development Program is now accepting applications! If you’re interested in a career in manufacturing, please see Ms. Glaze for more information. You must be 17 years old by June 12 to participate. Applications are due by January 20, 2026.
