PSHS will be administering the Virtual SC exams on Monday, May 5th and make ups will be on Tuesday, May 6th. Students will report to the Media Center's computer lab as soon as the bell rings for 1st block (9 am). Please bring your Chromebooks and make sure that you know your username and password for your class(es). If a student is taking a Credit Recovery class, there are no final exams.

If you are interested in joining the debate club, please meet in Ms. Parry's room (room 604) during Iron Horse Hour on Thursday, May 1st. Please check in with your homeroom teacher first.

The Mt. Pleasant Veterans of Foreign Wars post is conducting a food drive for their Day of Giving. You are kindly requested to bring in a non-perishable food items (canned or boxed food items) to help the MT. Pleasant Post. Items may be submitted to Chief Siau in RM 104 or to Mr. Datta in RM 123.

Sophomore Board is excited to bring you Tropical Smoothie Cafe items at lunch on Mondays! Smoothies are $6 and cookies are $2 and will be out on the patio during both lunches!

Juniors - If you discussed having an early out/late in during your IGP with your school counselor, please stop by the school counseling office to pick up the Early Out/Late In form. Remember that it will not be approved until we know you are College and/or Career Ready and you have provided proof of employment (a copy of your pay check). Please return the form and your pay check at the same time.

JROTC Cadets -

  • Drill practice will be on Thursday, at 8:00 am. All Cadets interested are welcome to participate.

    • All Active and Reserve Cadets, the Air Force Junior ROTC Awards Ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 6, at 6:00 pm. All Cadets must wear their blues with coats and are highly recommended to bring their family. Otherwise, wear OCPs or polo shirt and khaki pants.

    • Finally, there are two slots available for the Lift Camp on May 17. Please sign up in the classroom for anyone interested.

Get ready for Cheerleading Tryouts 2025! Tryouts are April 30 - May 2 4:15 - 6:00. Tryout packets are available in the Main Office. Come prepared and make sure you are approved in Big Teams.

Attention Philip Simmons rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! Are you ready to level up your leadership skills and make an impact? REV is looking for motivated students to become Brand Influencers at our student-run REV branch right here on campus! As a Brand Influencer, you’ll be more than just a student—you’ll be a REV employee and ambassador. You’ll gain real-world experience by assisting members with their accounts, completing teller transactions, and promoting REV’s digital solutions. It’s your chance to lead, grow, and help others as a #TechChampion. Want to learn more? Join us for a Lunch & Learn on May 6th in Room 315 (The REV Bank located next to the lunchroom). Keep an eye out for posters around the school for more info!

Students - If you have not turned in your opt-out form for the Be The Change, please turn those in to School Counseling as soon as possible.

Iron Horse Cross Country interest meeting will be today at 4:30 on the track. There are QR codes posted around the school to sign up for more information.

Seniors - Please bring all college acceptances and scholarship money awards to the School Counseling Office. This information is needed even if you do not plan to attend that school or use the scholarship.
