Underclassmen pictures will be taken on Wednesday, August 26th.

There will be a Dance Team Interest Meeting on August 25 in the Dance Room 309 at 4:20-5pm. The Dance Team Tryouts are September 1st from 4:30pm-6:30pm, location TBD. If you aren't able to make it to the interest meeting come swing by Ms. Keschinger room 309 to receive a audition packet.

Applications for the National Art Honor Society are now available! Students who have successfully completed Art 2 are eligible to apply. Applications can be found outside Ms. Duvall’s door.

There will be a French Honor Society Meeting for all applicants on Thursday, Aug 27 at 8:20 in 211. Applications are due Friday 8/21.

Poppin Pals will be back this Friday. Delicious popcorn is still $2 a bag, but we are now going to be cashless and only card will be accepted.

The football team is looking for a Team Manager to join their team and be a valued leader both on and off the field. See Coach Bennett to apply.

Student Drivers - Please remember you must obey all traffic signs and laws. You must also have a parking pass displayed on your vehicle while it is on campus.

Attention, sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Sophomores, you can sign up to take the PSAT in the fall or the PreACT in the spring for free. Juniors, you can sign up for the PSAT in October for $20 and have the opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. Juniors, you can also sign up to take the ACT or SAT for free in the spring. Seniors, you can sign up to take the SAT for free in October. The deadline to sign up for fall SAT or PSAT testing is August 20th. The Test Sign-Up Google Form is available in your class Schoology course and was shared in the PSH Newsletter. Only students can sign up using their BCSD Google accounts and be sure to turn off your VPN if using your cellphone. Please remember, there are no make-up dates available, so make sure you sign up by the deadline! For any questions, you can reach out to Dr. Pilson via email, Rooms, or Schoology.

If you are interested in joining Spanish Honor Society and are currently a sophomore, junior or senior who have completed Spanish 3 or are enrolled this year, pick up an application outside of Ms. Keys's room (room 205). It will need to be completed and returned by Wednesday, August 26.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS - If you are interested in a scholarship, available to 9-12 graders, the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars has the annual “Voice of Democracy” scholarship, which the grand prize is $35,000. Applications need to be turned in by 31 October so there is plenty of time. Please see Chief Siau or Mr. Datta for the application form and instructions on how to apply for the scholarship.

Cadets – there are plenty of community service opportunities available, please see the information and sign-up in room 105.

Theatre Club will be having their first meeting of the year after school on Thursday August 20th in the theatre room, Room 311. Anyone who is interested in doing theatre is welcome to attend. Please see Ms. Kniskern in Room 311 if you have any questions.
