Kela Middleton's commitment to her community is remarkable. As a devoted wife, mother of six, and active member of Cross Community, she has made a lasting impact in multiple roles.

For 15 years, Kela worked as the Child Nutrition Manager at Cross High School, and for the past six years, she has served as the head cheerleading coach. Beyond the school, she has dedicated 17 years to the Cross Recreation Department and has organized community events including the 4th of July committee and Christmas Parade. She also owns and operates Dasani & Me Photography, a successful business she has run for over 20 years.

One of Kela's greatest passions is spending time with elderly community members, listening to their stories and learning from their wisdom. At Cross High School, students and staff affectionately call her the "mother" of the school because of her genuine care for their success and futures.

Kela founded the BEE You Mentoring Program, a Christian-based organization that helps young people through education, confidence-building, life skills, and mental and financial wellness support.

Kela's dedication to her community and unwavering faith inspire everyone around her. Her work reminds us that one person's commitment to service can transform lives and strengthen an entire community.
