Bowen's Corner Elementary (BCE) opened its doors to more than 700 students in August 2018. The school is located in Hanahan, and is led by its principal, Amanda Prince.

BCE offers transdisciplinary curriculum in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) to Pre K-5th grade students. At the end of each grade level, we expect all of our students to be able to demonstrate competency in state standards and foundational work and life skills. These skills include adaptability, critical thinking, initiative, communication, advocacy, resilience and collaboration. Each student participates in related arts classes weekly. Formal instruction is provided in Media Arts, Music, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Classroom Guidance and Makerspace.
