The South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (SCAEOP) is recognizing two Berkeley County School District employees this year.
As an affiliate of the National Educational Office Professionals organization and a group endorsed by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators, SCAEOP yearly names a School Administrator of the Year and an Office Professional of the Year. This year, BCSD Senior Associate Superintendent of Operations and Administration Deon Jackson was selected as the Administrator of the Year. Mrs. Kim Glaze, CEOE, was selected as the organization’s Office Professional of the Year.
In his nomination packet, Mr. Jackson was described as instrumental in contributing to employee growth. He was also described as being “supportive of educational professionals embarking on opportunities at the national level.”
It should come as no surprise that as Mr. Jackson’s administrative assistant, Mrs. Glaze was described in similar fashion.
“Kimberly has proven her professionalism and dedication to serving and promoting the best possible education for students,” wrote SCAEOP Chairman Susan R. Bailey.
Mr. Jackson and Mrs. Glaze will be formally recognized during the organization’s annual conference in Myrtle Beach at the end of the month.
