STEP audition registration info

Revised Wednesday, August 17, 2022

Do you think your child could be gifted in any of the arts? Please sign your child up for the audition coming in February 2023. The forms will be open from August 15, 2022 - December 2, 2022 to accept nominations.

The Special Talent Enrichment Program (STEP) serves Berkeley County School District students in grades four through twelve who have been identified through auditions as gifted in visual art, music, theatre and dance. The program currently consists of a two-week summer session and Saturday programs at Goose Creek High School. Middle school STEP students are also eligible to enroll at Marrington Middle School of the Arts.

Students may only audition in one arts area each year (dance, music, theatre or visual art). Students who have previously qualified do not need to re-audition in their arts area. Audition appointments and applications are required for auditions. VIEW/PRINT additional information

Auditions will be held at  Berkeley Elementary on February 1, 2023 from 4pm-8pm and Sedgefield Middle on February 4, 2023 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
