"Even though students are now home for summer break, they are still 'our kids'," said Director of Child Nutrition Services Linda Fairchild. "As such, we want to ensure that they have access to good, nutritional meals. In Berkeley County, we are committed to educating the whole child so ensuring that our students receive proper nutrition will always be a priority. I am thankful that we have the opportunity to offer parents this resource, and we look forward to continuing to feed the children of Berkeley County this summer."
Approximately 35 other sites throughout the county will provide meals to children. To locate a community or church site and to obtain serving times, please call 1-877-842-6273.
