SHS selected for President's Cup National Concert Band Competition

Stratford High's wind orchestra has been selected to perform in Washington D.C. as a part of the President's Cup National Concert Band Competition. This is a huge honor to be a part of eight bands selected from across the country to perform.

This event began in 2015 and has seen bands from across the country perform. Stratford is the second group from South Carolina to be selected for this event and the first from Berkeley County.

The SWO will perform on 3/31/2023 at George Mason University at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas,Virginia.

The band is very proud of the legacy of excellence demonstrated by its past and present students. Furthermore, they are happy to represent their school and Berkeley County School District at this very prestigious event.
