As Berkeley County School District continues its focus on being a value-driven organization, a screening and discussion of the documentary Most Likely to Succeed has been scheduled.

In the words of Director Greg Whiteley and Executive Producer Ted Dintersmith, Most Likely to Succeed is a "thought-provoking" film that "revels the growing shortcomings of conventional education methods in today's innovative world."

"The purpose of this screening will be for our community leaders to begin identifying life and work skills they believe we should be held responsible for teaching our kids, for success in the 21st Century," said BCSD Superintendent Dr. Eddie Ingram.

Following the screening, a panel of students will answer questions from the audience about the effectiveness of their education.

The event will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Harry D. Calvert Auditorium of Goose Creek High. Community leaders, parents and students are encouraged to attend.
