With every school represented at the event, many teachers/administrators went "all out" with decorations, costumes and flair. In the case of J.K. Gourdin Elementary, representatives of the school embraced the excitement of the holiday weekend. (BCSD photo)
More than 300 certified educators attended the annual spring Teacher Recruitment Fair on Saturday at Cane Bay High.
Of those in attendance, nearly 200 received clearance interviews, and several people were offered positions (contingent upcon certain circumstances).
The annual Teacher Recruitment Fair is the largest recruiting effort BCSD hosts each year and is arguably the most important event hosted by the district each year.
Certified educators from all over the country attended this year's event -- some from as far as California and Oregon.
