Howe Hall AIMS is a public magnet school that serves about 420 kindergarten through fifth grade students. The school’s mission is to include the arts as an essential component of the curriculum to optimize student achievement through a variety of learning experiences that facilitate the development of students as lifelong learners and productive citizens.
In addition to the core academic subjects, the AIMS philosophy includes standards-based instruction in dance, drama, music, visual art, physical education, and Spanish. Students have the opportunity to experience the arts through co-taught infusion lessons, exploratory classes and arts integration in their core subjects.
“The entire AIMS team is always humbled by the large number of families that apply to our school," said Howe Hall AIMS Principal Chris Swetckie. "We are looking forward to another year of providing a high quality educational experience, and we are excited about welcoming the new students and families the lottery will bring."
The Parent Information Session will be on Thursday, February 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at Howe Hall AIMS.
