In recognition of National Water Week 2018, Berkeley County Water and Sanitation is again holding a poster contest for K-8th grade Berkeley County students.
Public, private and home-schooled students are challenged to create a poster showing how one’s water footprint can be reduced. Posters can be designed using crayons, markers, paint or other art medium. There are no limitations.
There will be cash prizes for first ($100), second ($75) and third place ($50).
Submissions are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 20. All submissions must be delivered to Berkeley County Water and Sanitation located at 212 Oakley Plantation Drive in Moncks Corner. Students must complete this form (view/download/print)and submit with their poster.
** National Water Week is held annually to communicate the value of water to environmental protection, economic development and job creation. During the week of April 15-21, organizations from around the country will meet in Washington, D.C. to advocate for clean water policies and practices.
