BCSD wrestlers show strength in state tournament

Several BCSD wrestlers had strong showings in the state meet over the weekend, and two athletes claimed state titles in their weight classes. Timberland's Cooper Youngblood won the 3A 182-pound class. Cane Bay's Jacob D'Ambrosio took home the title in the 4A 132-pound class, capping a 49-0 season.

In all, 14 BCSD wrestlers finished in the top three in their weight classes. Sixteen of the 24 wrestlers participating in the state tournament finished in the top four.
