Work on Williams Lane/Foster Creek road project will begin Monday, January 29
Published Friday, January 26, 2018
Those living in the area of Bowen’s Corner Elementary School (currently under construction) in Hanahan will soon notice work along the roadways in the area.
Crews will begin working to clear debris and trees in the area of Williams Lane and Foster Creek on Monday, January 29. That work is expected to be complete in about seven days, and work to relocate underground piping and utilities will follow. The work is part of the school construction project, which includes the eventual construction of a roundabout at the intersection of the two roads.
Lane and road closures are not anticipated, but there may be some necessary traffic control at times as trucks and equipment move in and out of the area.
It's expected all road work related to the school’s construction will be completed during the summer of 2018.
