50+ BCSD students selected for all-state choirs

Revised Monday, November 26, 2018

More than 50 Berkeley County School District students were recently selected for the SC All-State Choirs, accounting for about 11 percent of all students chosen from across the state.

In total, 1,625 students in South Carolina competed for spots.

The majority of BCSD's all-state nods came from Cane Bay High School, which had 26 students selected. Cane Bay Choirs director William Bennett said the school has never had that many selections.
