OneBerkeley Back to School Festival will be held Saturday

Published Tuesday, August 7, 2018

Berkeley County School District’s OneBerkeley Back to School Festival will be held this Saturday, August 11 at Moncks Corner Regional Recreation Complex. It will provide the perfect opportunity for parents to network with district employees and community supporters while also collecting free school supplies.

In addition to all the things you expect to see at a back to school festival, there will be jump castles for the kids and food trucks.

“We’re looking forward to starting this new school year in grand fashion, and we hope to see thousands of smiling faces on Saturday as we celebrate our schools, communities and stakeholders,” said Berkeley County School District Superintendent Dr. Eddie Ingram.

The festival will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 12 p.m. For more information on the OneBerkeley festival and initiative, visit bcsdschools.net/oneberkeley.

** In the event of inclement weather, the event’s backpack giveaway will be moved to Berkeley High School. All other activities will be canceled. **
