These photos taken sometime between 1995 and 1999 show then South Carolina Governor David Beasley on a visit to Fishburne Elementary School in Hanahan.
Beasley was the 113th governor of South Carolina and served one term.
Fishburne Elementary School is now known as Fishburne Educational Center and it's where Berkeley County School District offers GED (high school equivalency) classes through the Berkeley County Virtual Learning Program, community education (when available) and English language learner classes.
