College Park Elementary’s Bianca Drayton wants to be Wonder Woman when she grows up. She’s an intelligent kid – makes the honor roll and walks the hallways of the Ladson and Goose Creek area school with a smile.
Bianca knows Wonder Woman isn’t real, but thoughts of the super hero flying around the world and helping people remind Bianca of how she wants to spend each day of her life.
She’s one of the wisest 9-year-olds you will ever meet. Bianca knows being kind and helping others is a positive way to live each day. She hopes the support she provides peers encourages them to pay it forward.
Bianca said her family taught her to be kind. College Park Elementary School Principal Amanda Prince says the effort the 3rd-grader puts into helping others amazing.
It’s hard for Bianca to describe what she does. For the post part, she isn’t keeping a record. She simply makes it a goal to help at least 10 people each day – from picking up dropped pencils to helping encourage a peer frustrated with a math problem.
“It feels amazing,” she said of helping others and then watching them pay it forward.
