Several recognized as 'Legacy Builders' at January 30 board meeting

Pictured above, from left to right, are Kastor Collier, Germen Lyght and BCSD director of career and technical education, Tana Lee. Lyght and Collier were winners of the STEM Premiere CTE Major Badge Contest. Lyght won first place and Collier won third place. Second place was won by Jessica Armenta (not pictured). The students were among several recognized at the January 30, 2018 board meeting.
Legacy Builders are students, staff members and partners who have made amazing strides during the month. The Legacy Builders program highlights their achievements at the second board meeting each month.
Among those recognized were Goose Creek High School winners of the STEM Premier CTE Major Badge Contest and several standout athletes from various schools. Also, board member Frank Wright was recognized for 20 years of service to Berkeley County School District.
