Varsity Cyber Knights

Computers, snacks and cyber security — weekends of high-tech competition have taken place at Stratford High School, and the Stratford Cyber Knights have proven they’re among the best.

The Cyber Knights’ varsity team qualified to compete in the highest tier — the top 30 percent of all teams in the country in Saturday’s round of the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition — Cyber Patriot.

The junior varsity team also performed well and was the top qualifier in the silver tier of the state round. The JROTC team competed in the gold tier.

Final scores from the competition are expected to be available in a few weeks.
