Published Tuesday, June 2, 2020
The 2020 Goose Creek High School graduation will be held on June 20 at Charles B. Gibson Stadium. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Each student will be allowed four guests.
(Children 3 years of age and younger will not require a ticket; however, seating will be measured and designated to accompany ticketed individuals only.)
Parking and traffic
One parking pass will be issued per graduate/family for paved parking on campus. Families of the top 25 graduates and BCSD officials will park on the JROTC drill pad and CTE parking lot. The Gym parking lot will be designated for accessible parking (those using wheelchairs or in need of other assistance). GCH teachers will park at Mount Holly Elementary School.
We are blocking Garwood Road at Elmora Drive and Garwood at Jackson Street. This will ensure that residents are able to leave if needed. The back gate to the stadium will be used for families of the top 25 and GCH faculty. The main gate will be used for other guests/attendees.
Arrival and seating
The stage for graduation will be placed along the 20-yard line near the scoreboard. All stadium seating will be utilized, and there will additional, mobile seating marked around the facility.
Attendees/guests will be expected to remain in their designated seating area until the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. Attendees/guests WILL NOT be permitted on the field before, during or after the graduation ceremony.
**Please note that our clear bag entry procedure will be in effect.**
