BMC celebrates 47 graduates

Published on Tuesday, June 16, 2020

Berkeley Middle College will recognize and celebrate 47 graduates on June 18 at Cane Bay High (view more information).

The middle college concept is a national educational model that allows students to take dual credit classes on a college campus and earn both high school and college credit while completing their high school career.

These students enroll in college courses through Trident Technical College and, on average, graduate with 27 college credit hours by the time they receive their high school diplomas. By the end of their high school experience, these students are typically a year or more ahead of their peers academically.

This year's class scored an estimated $2,476,261 in academic scholarships and $48,000 in athletic scholarships.
