About Communities in Schools
-
Communities in Schools (CIS) serves nearly 8,000 Lowcountry students. The program supports the learning of students by helping address the needs of families. Tutoring, mentoring and support programs offered with the help of community parters (Backpack Buddies, School Market Pantry) highlight the impact CIS has on the Mount Holly Elementary student population.
For additional information on the Communities in Schools program at our school, please contact our CIS Coordinator, Mrs. Hall at 843-820-4090.

Backpack Buddies
Participation in the LCFB’s Backpack Buddies Program is voluntary, discreet, and requires parental/guardian permission for enrollment. The program is offered via our partnership with Lowcountry Food Bank.
