Welcome to the Fabulous World of Art!

Dear Parents,

Can you believe we are back in school already? I am beyond excited about this year at CBE and look forward to diving right in! I have high expectations for this year and look forward to seeing the product of your child’s creativity as we grow together in art.

During the school year, students will learn about specific art concepts, various cultures, and styles of art. Students will acquire basic media skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and other art media. The State Standards from your child’s regular classroom will also be carried over into the art room as we focus greatly on reading and writing skills. Art is a vital part of every child's development, and your support will help foster creativity. Please check the schedule below for the day they have art class. On that day, I strongly suggest that students not wear their best clothing. Some of our coolest projects can get messy!
