If you have any questions or concerns, parents are always welcome to contact us over the phone, email, or schedule an appointment.  All CBM School Counseling staff can be reached by phone at (843) 899-1857.  Please ask for the counselor that services your child's grade level. Our email addresses are avaialble under the Faculty and Staff link by our names.  Scheduling appointments are strongly recommended due to the high volume of students we service, and we want to be able to give 100% of our focus towards your concerns.

Students are allowed to visit their counselors with concerns during the school day when permitted by their classroom teachers.  Students must always report to Guidance with a pass.  Students can also self-refer to guidance through Google drive by completing a Student Guidance Referral form and submitting it to the counselors online. Our services include individual counseling, classroom guidance, small groups, career exploration and planning, and transtion activity/event planning for rising 5th graders and 8th graders transitioning to high school.

Students Can See Counselors for the Following Concerns:

    • Decision Making
    • High school course preparation
    • Academic concerns/grades
    • friendship issues
    • Coping with loss/grieving
    • Divorce worries
    • Career choices

To see a School Counselor, students must complete a Student Guidance Referral form, which will be provided in teachers' Google Classrooms.

    CBM Matrix

CBM operates under the CBM matrix. Students are taught appropriate behaviors in various locations throughout the school.

At CBM, we expect students to:

    • Come Prepared,
    • Be Responsible and
    • Make Wise Choices

Our CAB Program promotes CBM's zero tolerance against bullying of any kind in our school.  Students can report incidents confidentialy to the CBM Guidnace department using the 'Cobra Confidential' link, which is provided in our teachers' Google Classrooms.  Student reports are seen ONLY by the School Counselors and the CBM Administrators.  Learn more at the 'Cobras Against Bullying' link.
