Berkeley County School District Adult and Community Education provide opportunities for community members to participate in activities while engaging their minds in learning and, therefore, raising their quality of life.
     
     
    Whether you are seeking a high school credential, wanting to learn English as a second language or just wanting to learn new job skills, we offer many programs to meet your needs.  
     
     Attention GED Candidates
     
    New passing score for the GED has been lowered to 145! If you took the GED after January 1, 2014, and earned scores close to 145, please contact us so we can help you develop a new plan to earn your credential.  
     
     
     
     

    Achieve Your Goals    

    Berkeley County Adult Education, with its partners, will offer General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and High School Diploma (HSD) classes beginning August 20, 2018, through June 4, 2019.  The GED classes will be offered during the day and evening.  Integrated into the curricula are workplace reading and math skills;  soft skills; and digital literacy.  World Interactive Network (WIN) preparation, resume' writing, and mock interviews are all a part of the curriculum.
