Hello! My name is Mariel Saldutte and I am so excited to be back at Hanahan High! My name is a little complicated for some, so the students often call me Miss S for short. I am from Pittsburgh, PA, and have lived in Charleston for the last seven years with my dog, Lucy. I graduated with a degree in Special Education from the College of Charleston, and I was lucky enough to do my clinical internship at Hanahan Middle School in 2016. Since then, I've worked between Hanahan Middle and Hanahan High, so it feels great to continually work in a community I know and love. I am excited to be serving the students in numerous ways in order to make their high school years a positive learning experience! I look forward to working with the students to meet their goals as well.
Should students need additional out of class support, I am available every day before school between 8:15 and 8:45 and Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:45-4:15. If a student wants to meet, please send an email so I can know to plan accordingly.
