  • The Rev. Dr. E.L. & Christine O. Jackson Scholarship

    The Reverend Dr. E. L. & Christine O. Jackson Scholarship Fund was established in August 1991, by family and friends of the late Reverend Jackson as a living memorial to his life and work as a Pastor, Educator, and Humanitarian.  He loved

    young people and constantly challenged them to realize their full potential.  Reverend Jackson was the pastor of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church for twenty-five years. 

    Criteria: Must be a graduating High School Senior from Berkeley, Charleston & Dorchester Counties, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Jenkin’s Institute, Foster Care in the Tri-County; The focus of the Rev. Dr. E. L. & Christine O. Jackson Scholarship is supporting African-American students having the greatest need for financial support to further their academic education.

    Award: $1,000
